What does evidence-based healthcare design actually look like in practice? At Dearc, our work for Max Healthcare focused on the public spaces that shape a patient's experience of the facilities, like reception areas, waiting zones, and circulation spaces.
Guided by evidence-based design principles, these environments were designed to support intuitive wayfinding, reduce cognitive load, and create a greater sense of comfort and reassurance for patients and caregivers navigating the hospital.
The outcome is a public realm that not only supports operational efficiency but also contributes to a calmer and more human-centered healthcare experience.
